Although we have just entered the month of February, I wanted to take a look back at some of my favorite new beauty finds. Just a warning, not all of these products are newly launched but they are new to my must-have list.
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
When it comes to foundation or a tinted moisturizer, I find myself always loyal to Armani Beauty and Chanel. For everyday, I decided I needed to switch things up. I do live in Miami now, so I need something a little more lightweight for daytime and something with SPF, enter Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. I loved the consistency and texture of the product. It’s oil-free which means it won’t clog my pore and has SPF 30. The SPF factor is very important as we are always exposed to the sun, even when we think we don’t see it, its there and harming our skin. This Tinted Moisturizer from NARS is lightweight but provides a really nice amount of coverage and functions between a tinted moisturizer and a light foundation.
TARTE Metallic Shadow. Color: Dame.
I love this deep-toned multi demential color, it works really well for my skin tone. I use this high-impact metallic shadow as a liner, on my lower lash line when working a smoking eye.
RMS & Malin + Goetz Lip Balms
I wear a lot of Matte lipsticks and find that my lips are almost always dry. The combination of both of these products are a life savor! The multitasking RMS balm can be used on lips, under eyes, and on your cuticles to support, protect, and hydrate skin. The Mojito Lip Balm has a little more moisture too it, I also like to use before I apply my my lipstick for a little added shine. Both lip balms are a must-have and in my handbag at all times.
ORIBE Apres Beach Wave & Shine Spray
I’ve recently decided to step out of the box and away from one of my favorite hair products Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray. Well, I didn’t step that far out as I just went for another offering from the line #oribeobsessed
If you’re a fan of the cult classic Texturizing Spray I’m pretty sure you’re going to love Apres Beach. Just think – it’s similar to the texturizing spray but without the mattifying element, and instead, a glossy and salty edge that works better at holding waves in place. Unlike the sister spray Apres Beach turns even stick straight hair into tousled-beach waves. I’m still a fan of both products, but this month I’m all about Apres Beach.
CLARINS Rouge Eclat. Color: Nude Rose
This is my new must-have beach shade. Rouge Eclat is the perfect alliance between skincare and makeup. It’s lightweight, smooth formula not only gives beautiful color to your lips but also nourishes your lips.
I am a huge fan of diptyque candles and I love when I recieve a press release on their limited edition scents. For this candle, Antoinette Poisson has designed two exclusive motifs, one floral and the other geometrical, to decorate the scented objects of this collection. With notes of currant and bergamot, its not my typical scent but after burning the candle I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely will keep on my coffee table long after the candle wears out.
FRESH Sugar Body Scrub
I’m probably a little late to the game with this one, as i’ve seen this product for years but never tried it. Well, I love a good body scrub and after trying this body polish from Fresh, Im hooked! It’s definitely one of the best body polishes I’ve ever tried for many reasons. Sugar is a natural body exfoliant and this scrub is formulated with real brown sugar crystals that gently buff away dry skin cells. The superior blend of four precious oils, including evening primrose, sweet almond, apricot kernel and jojoba, nourish and moisturize the skin, while citrus oils help brighten and softly scent skin and ginseng root and peppermint extract revitalize and invigorate the senses.
